Your Mission:


We need your expertise in providing leadership, management and vision as we continue to strive to remain world class in our operating efficiency and capacity.

You'll lead our team in order planning, coordination of employees, process management and shipping.

The primary product lines you'll oversee include the shipment of are our sturdy medical devices, ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital bends and everything in between.

These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you'll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People.


Main Activities

  • Establishing a culture of advocating for continuous improvement on all levels.
  • Managing workload for nonexempt employees.
  • Develop and support warehouse best practices.
  • Ensure correct shipment of all customer orders; by training pickers, billers, and auditors to perform to the best of their abilities and high standards of productivity.
  • Collaborating crossfunctionally within your team and their strengths to better react to the different workloads that come down each day.
  • Developing people: Propose training, mentor associates, buildup your team, coach and counsel performance and productivity on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining communication and harmony amongst team members, handle grievances when necessary.
  • Creating awareness through daily productivity meetings and visual communication boards.
  • Maintain and ensuring compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Partner with safety to ensure proper procedures are followed; and ensure documentation is filled out after accidents or incidents when they are not.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Your Education and Experience:


Required:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 year of experience in Warehouse management.
  • 2 years of experience in a position with occasional customer contact.
  • Knowledge / experience in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, most notably Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Preferred but not Required:


  • Strong background in the management of all logistics functions (inbound freight, both international and domestic, and intersite freight) to insure ontime deliveries at the lowest cost.
  • Strong experience leveraging, utilizing and implementing warehouse management systems.
  • Strong background leveraging contemporary supply chain, logistics and continuous improvement tools / methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, cost, inventory management and safety.
  • Solid project management skills, team facilitation skills, and excellent communication skills.

Your Physical Demands/Work Environment:


  • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
