Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):Inventory accuracy helps with company tasks such as filling customer orders, planning and staying within budget. As an Inventory Researcher, you will investigate discrepancies, locate error sources and initiate and complete cycle counts.
The primary product lines you'll oversee are durable medical goods ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and respiratory products.
These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you'll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
- Review variances and discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System and provide detailed information to inventory management.
- Analyze & reconcile inventory variances daily, issue periodic report to inventory management.
- Record and create request approval of the scrapping of product based on their site damage destruction form submitted to inventory management.
- Assists with the preparation and execution of annual physical inventory.
- Demonstrate an attitude of support and foster participation in the environment of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Assist in QC inspection of and the sorting of damage/reboxable product.
- Assist in root cause analysis of lost and found product.
- Assist in the completion of Damage/Destruction forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:
- This position reports to the Distribution Center Supervisor.
Education and Experience:
Required:
- H. S. Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills, e.g. PC, MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), RF scanners
- Able to use material movement equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- SAP or Warehouse Management System experience
- 23 years inventory experience a plus

- Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
