What You Will Be Doing:


Reporting to our Financial Controller, this role oversees a number of key accounting processes for our busy organization, and also provides supervision and development to our accounting team.

This Accounting/Finance professional will bring strong business acumen to our team, alongside a keenly analytical mindset.

This person will thrive in our dynamic, get-it-done culture, leveraging strong communication skills and a strong aptitude for people management.


  • Manage our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes from beginning to end, ensuring timely, high quality execution, and continuously improving these streams.
  • Prepare regulatory filings (GST, EHT, WCB)
  • Provide ongoing direction to accounting staff, optimizing the team's integration with the rest of Finance and the entire organization
  • Provide training, development, and coaching to accounting team members
  • Manage our month end process, improving accuracy, efficiency, and meaningful analysis
  • Contribute to the preparation of Pacific's annual budget

What You Bring To The Team:

  • CPA designation
  • 25 years related experience, with progressive responsibility including exposure to department / people management
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
  • Strong business acumen
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively oversee multiple processes, tasks and priorities in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • A great relationshipbuilder, with an engaging, professional demeanor
  • Highly responsive and approachable, with a strong customer service orientation
  • Reliable person of integrity, who inspires confidence and carefully manages confidential information
  • Consistently follows through, with great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive when working independently, taking initiative wherever possible
  • Experience directly managing a team is an asset
  • Experience with Sage 100 Contractor and/or Procore is an asset
  • Construction industry experience is an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
