CNC Machinist
Reporting to the Subtractive Manufacturing Manager, the CNC Machinist is Responsible for CNC set up and operation, program editing including:

Machine set up and operation per setup instructions;
Machine maintenance and recordkeeping;
Maintain all cutting tool libraries / develop tool life;
Manual tasks by assignment;
Manual AM support removal and detailing;
Inprocess and final inspections by assignment;
Interpretation of drawings, manuals, specifications, etc;
Shopfloor program editing by assignment;
Shop cleanliness and organization;
Conform to all quality, safety, and human resource policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
Post Secondary education in a related field an asset;
Ability to set up and operate various CNC equipment (2 & 3 axis milling machines, lathes);
Proficiency in mathematics, measuring tools, power tools, and finishing methods;
Familiarity with 5S;
Minimum 1 year experience with 2 and 3 axis CNC operation in a manufacturing environment;
Able to work in a fastpaced work environment while being detailoriented;
Excellent people and communication skills;
Able to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding work;
