This very busy GTA dealership is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join our team.

The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for processing warranty and internal repair orders for multiple dealerships, as well as assisting with various duties at the service desk such as Business Development.

Responsibilities Warranty Admin/Internal Advisor

Prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty claims as per manufacturer policies & procedures.
Maintains complete and accurate records for warranty claims.
Hold any warranty claims that require manufacturer authorization.
Forward warranty claims for defective parts to the factory and distributors.
Arranges for parts to be shipped back to factory or distributor, or to be scrapped.
Follow up and resubmit unpaid claims returned by manufacturer.
Keep number of outstanding claims to a minimum.
Maintain schedules for factory warranty, extended warranty, PDI and ensure balances remain current
Close open repair orders daily, including retail, internal, warranty and employee
Process goodwill claims and maintain general ledger of goodwill claims
Process appeals
Operate the control tower during absence of the Control Tower Operator
Attend all department meetings
Follow all company and manufacturers' policies, directives, and procedures
Comply with required health and safety regulations
Perform any other duties as required
Open and follow up on internal work orders.
Consult with technicians regarding repairs/maintenance and provide options to managers, including indepth information about available aftermarket and OEM part options
Coordinate sublet work and assist in preparing/monitoring the service loaner fleet.
Work with the parts department to determine part availability and schedule future appointments
Advise managers about warranty protections and potential cost savings.
Perform various lot duties as needed.
1+ years of automotive dealership experience
Minimum 1 year warranty experience
