Fiber Drop Technician - Brampton, Canada - Synapse Communications
Description
Installing Fiber lines at the service level.Responsibilities include:
- Driving truck to site
- Jetting fiber through existing pipe
- Splicing fiber at customer premise
- Trouble shooting problem service cables
- Setting up a safe work site
- Use of hand tools
Requirements:
- Driver abstract
- Criminal background check
- Able to work flexible hours
- Experience in the telecommunication field installing service drops
- Able to read and interpret underground Telco designs is a plus
- An understanding of underground utilities is a plus
- Able to read and interpret utility locates is a plus
What you will Bring:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Great Organizational Skill
- Computer literate
- Ability to work efficiently on your own
- Valid Ontario Drivers license's
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experienced in operating equipment is a plus
Pay:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
