Our Compensation Team

What you will do

As a Business Analyst in our Compensation team, you will be accessing market data and survey submissions to gather and organize the information.

You will help the team analyze small to medium data sets and create charts in Excel and other data visualization tools.


In addition, you will:

  • Coordinate documentation updates for compensation related processes, as well as maintain business documentation to record changes to policy, processes and procedures.
  • Prepare custom letters, including calculation of compensation elements such as retention bonuses and salary adjustments.
  • Provide contract administration support.
  • Assist in gathering data for Access to Information & Privacy (ATIP) and Parliamentary questions.

Your education and experience

This position requires a bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Please note that we are open to filling this position with a co-op student for 12-18 months.


What you need to know

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
  • Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
  • Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability

Remote work / Hybrid Work Model #LI-Remote**The Bank is conducting a trial of a hybrid working model which provides employees with the flexibility to telework for significant portions of each month. During the trial, employees will be expected to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person and to build connections with colleagues. For the majority of employees, it is expected that onsite time will range from 5 to 10 days per month, depending on your role. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office. For this position, should you not live within reasonable commuting distance of the office, you will be able to work 100% remote (within Canada) for the duration of this term.

  • Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $66,000 to $77,645 (job grade 14)
  • Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (5 to 7% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (10% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
