Travel Requirements:

In this position, you must be able to travel throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico as may be required from time to time.

Job Duties:


Marketing Specialist will be responsible for working with the cross functional teams to develop brand & promotional strategies, optimize digital & marketing tools, and manage external partners & channel customers.

This role will also lead efforts that support research, digital, offline marketing as well as communications of Southwire products & solution offerings.

This individual will work with cross-functional teams, sales, marketing, operations, external partners, and channel customers championing the Southwire brand.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supports Southwire growth plans through branding and promotional activities, optimization of digital and marketing tools, and voice of customer monitoring and measurement actives.
  • Builds and manages relationships with our customers and participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ongoing customer/distributor programs, field travel, tradeshows, and cobranded calendar events.
  • Implement marketing strategy and supporting campaigns in ED, retail, and energy channels
  • Develop, maintain, and implement support programs, sales tools, events, and trainings that provide the sales team with sales aids and pricing tools to support existing and new business
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and meetings, implement and organize them efficiently through a collaborative and fun approach
  • Work with our customers on their ecommerce platform ensure they have the bestinclass content that drives sales.
- manage strategic communications, planning for promotions, distribution of corporate organizational and marketing content.

  • Execute and manage social media activities across multiple channels to grow customer awareness.
  • Strong project management skills, verbal & written communication skills, multitasking ability; and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fastpaced work environment.
  • Manage the marketing budget.

Requirements:


Minimum Education Level:
Bachelor's

Years of Experience: 5+


  • Other Skills:
  • Strong PC skills, including a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP system.
  • Experience with ecommerce is a plus.
  • Experience managing project financials and staying within budgeted targets is a plus
  • Identify customer needs and business opportunities within the channels.
  • Comfortable presenting new programs customers, distributors, and internal clients about brand information and promotions
  • Ability and desire to travel 1020%
