The Opportunity

Columbia College is looking for **On

Call
English Sessional Instructors** to teach University Transfer Courses on campus.

On-Call instructor's coverage may be required during
February and
April 2023.
Key Responsibilities

The substitute's primary responsibilities include the, teaching the material prepared by the course instructor.
-
Master's degree in English Literature

Credentials (CELTA, TESL or TESOL certificate) and experience teaching ESL courses.
Face to face and online experience teaching English at another postsecondary institution.
Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset)
Demonstrated success in innovative or studentcentered teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in teaching a diverse student body.

Salary

Columbia College offers a gross hourly rate of
$89.12.
