Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation of forklifts in the shipping/receiving area by signing off on Check sheets during Off Shifts.
  • Ensure product for shipments are picked in FIFO order and staged for next day start up at 7am.
  • Ensure that 12hr shortage E-mails are sent correctly and any inventory discrepancies are reported immediately to the Shipping Supervisor.
  • Ensure that loaded shipments exactly match packing slips and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure that all Finished Goods are handled, moved and stored in such a way as to prevent product damage or deterioration.
  • Ensure that all shipping discrepancies are handled appropriately.
  • Ensure the 5S board is followed and filled out correctly on Off Shifts
  • Ensure Warehouse signs are hung for all FG locations.
  • Ensure that Warehouse and docks are clean and presentable at all times.
  • Ensure that the Quality alerts are signed by all Off Shift Team Members.
  • Coordinating expedites on Off Shifts.
  • Verification that Packing Slip and ASN's are matched and sent out accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
1. 1 years related experience as a shipper/receiver or material handler.

  • Successful completion of forklift safety course.
  • Secondary school diploma.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
  • Knowledge of forklift safety.
  • Forms, Labels, and Tags governing job function.
