Vickar Autobody & Glass is recruiting Experienced Apprentice Autobody Repair Techs. If you are looking for a long-term tight-knit working environment to advance a career in the industry, we'd like to hear from youMUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN CANADA AND BE LEGALLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE TRADE.
APPRENTICE AUTOBODY REPAIR TECH RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and read damage reports to establish a plan of repair.
- Repair and/or replace body panels, fenders, grills
- Use frame machines to straighten bent frames and unitized bodies
- Operates and uses applicable body shop equipment correctly and safely
- Maintains tools and ensures that equipment is clean and in good functional condition
- Highlevel attention to workplace safety and health
- Assist team members in accomplishing goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid MB class 5I or 5F driver's license with acceptable MPI abstract
- Industry interest with initiative to learn
- Face challenges with a cando attitude
- Have pride in workmanship with high attention to detail
- Enjoy a busy but wellstructured shop environment
- Punctual, reliable, mature and
committed to workplace safety & health
