Summary


The Quality Assurance (QA) Unit is accountable for investigating, reviewing, and reporting on results-based outcomes for all Child Welfare Agencies under the Southern First Nations Network of Care (SFNNC).

Responsibilities include active agency engagement and follow-up, monitoring procedures, developing improvements, producing reports, and interfacing with the Network to resolve issues through cooperative methods.

The Quality Assurance Data Specialist will report to the Manager of Quality Assurance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data analysis and reporting regarding various performance measure data and policy and procedure analysis
  • Complete CFSIS Reports including No CFSIS Entry, Case Breakdown, New Case Opening, Person Records, Transitional Planning, Closed Cases and Agency Monthly RCase064 Summaries.
  • Develop New CFIS Reports including Childin Care Family and Culturally Appropriate Placement, Single Envelope Funding Reporting Requirements, CFSIS data using Microsoft Access and Excel, and reports as needed by the Southern First Nations Network of Care.
  • Develop templates and roll up reports for the QA department and other SFNNC departments
  • Develop and maintain agenda, minutes, action logs for QA and Education working groups
  • Assist with the completion of the Education and Training Joint Training Team (JTT) reports
  • Maintain records for PHIA and FIPPA Committee
  • Track Serious and Critical Incident Reports
  • Ensure submitted SYA Reports meet eligibility criteria
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in:
  • Statistical and data analysis utilizing various software and data visualization techniques
  • Drafting written documents/recommendations demonstrating analysis policy/standards/legislation for a variety of topics and audiences
  • Education and/or training of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio)
  • Knowledge in Child and Family Services Information System (CFSIS) and its functions as it relates to QA is an asset.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to be highly detail oriented.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, multitasked environment and manage deadlines.
  • Must have demonstrated understanding of Indigenous culture and traditions.

Salary:
$55,302.00-$59,557.00 per year
