BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Edmonton, AB

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


You are accountable for acquiring & building key accounts within Edmonton and surrounding area, with a principal focus on developing and expanding regional market share in our industry.

The incumbent will use well-developed relationship management & professional sales skills to actively promote value propositions to key account customers' executive/senior management and their stakeholders at the corporate and plant levels.


  • Identify and evaluate unique customer needs and areas of opportunity, and promote valueadded Enterprise Solutions; document clearly in CB's CRM platform.
  • Actively identify, engage, and influence customer key decision makers in order to develop mutually beneficial value proposition(s).
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with prospects and key accounts at all organizational levels, including C-Suite.
  • Develop and present business cases/ROI analyses to customers to promote understanding and buyin of proposed solutions.
  • Present quarterly KPI reports to key accounts' Senior Management according to contractual agreements regarding customer expectations and corporate objectives (i.e. documented cost savings, energy savings, ROI, etc.).
  • Engage crossfunctional CB stakeholders throughout the sales process to ensure effective collaboration and smooth delivery on customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team to optimize customer service support requirements to help execute delivery on customer contract terms, and maximize positive customer experience.
  • Develop and execute, in conjunction with Regional Sales Manager, annual business plans and sales strategies for all key accounts.
  • Work with Pricing Team and Field Representatives (i.e. Technical Sales Representatives, Strategic Business Managers, etc.) to ensure contractual pricing is implemented, maintained, and accurately updated in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR TEAM:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' B2B sales experience
  • Knowledge and familiarity with MRO industry and Supply Chain a strong asset
  • Strong experience and demonstrated success selling B2B programs & solutions
