Description

We are currently recruiting for a full time Tire Technician to work out one of our Brantford, ON locations. The Tire Technician performs manual work in the repair and maintenance of tires on vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery.

Tire Technicians hold a crucial position in the organization, as they are often the primary point of contact with our customers and have a direct impact on our customers' impression of the Company.

As such, our Tire Technicians are expected to provide exceptional service to each and every customer, at all times.

Descriptions of Duties/Expectations:

Diagnose problems and determine the extent of repairs required
Inspect, repair and replace tires as required
Use tools to ensure tire installation meets industry standards
Complete required paper work in an accurate, legible and timely manner
Heavy Lifting
Working outside in various weather conditions
Complete other related duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Commercial Ontario wheel installers certificate
Excellent customer service skills
Good work ethic
Auto service and Tire experience an asset
Experience in automotive field an asset
Knowledge of computers
Previous sales experience an asset
Ability to work in a supervised capacity but operate independently
Ability to work in a time sensitive environment
Ability to demonstrate dexterity with hand tools
Ability to communicate effectively
Valid Driver's license
Mechanical Aptitude
Willingness to work after hours/on call
Available to work nights
