Position Summary:
Exhibition Design, Installation, Communication for exhibition that will take place in October 2023.

The employee will work in a team environment on these tasks as assigned:

Exhibition space design and installation per the directions of the cocurators
Execute handling, fabrication, construction, and lighting design
Overseeing printing and production of 2D and 3D display assets
Audiovisual Video recording of talks, events; editing recordings for website circulation
Work with cocurators to develop copy, visuals, and content for all communications
Liaise, when appropriate, with the School's administration and the larger McGill University Communications and Media units
Produce and administer all online and print materials for the exhibition with ancillary public programs
Manage the web site; all social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and YouTube Channel. Manage YouTube channel this includes full creation of videos (from taping/recording talks/panels et al(includes set up of a/v at events), editing clips, enhancing clips with visuals and textual narratives
Create all print communication and associated materials including: exterior exhibition banners and display case signage; invitations, posters, inhouse exhibition brochures

Other requirements:
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar. Carpentry skills are a plus. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are needed.
