Under the general direction of the Business Enablement Manager, the Procurement Analyst will be responsible for providing
direction, coordination and support to all departments within Corporate Services. This will include leading process improvement
and/or new process development projects; providing analytical, reporting and training support on larger implementation projects, the
development of performance metrics and reporting, as well as a number of other business enablement activities. This includes
working collaboratively with Corporate Services staff at various levels throughout the division to address ad hoc reporting and data
analytic requests.


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Responsible for Division, Department, and Corporate reporting along with identifying, creating, and preparing performance
metrics and reporting from various data sources as per customer requirements.

  • Identify and recommend work process and policy changes, quality improvements, technology improvements/initiatives, and
create implementation plans for presentation to management and department.

  • Analyze work requests/queries and recommend appropriate action.
  • Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Use process measures and data analysis to monitor
- effectiveness and consistency of the business processes and recommend changes.
  • Communicate with end users to obtain commitment to new processes including the preparation and delivery of presentations.
  • Achieve close working relationships with work groups at various levels within the organization, and across multiple Divisions

- and Operating Groups.
  • Create training material and provide guidance to users as it relates to business processes and participate in end user training

- as required.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all aspects of SAP Materials Management functionality, responding in a
- timely manner to system users requiring assistance.
  • Periodically conduct data integrity analysis to identify areas of improvement of SAP MM data and recommend corrective
- actions and data enhancements.
  • Stay informed of technological advances in the analytics landscape and work towards continuously improving reporting tools

- and processes.
  • Create and maintain vendor and material codes. Including verifying the data accuracy, completeness, and necessity of the

- code.
  • Review and analyze data related to Vendor Performance

_ Qualifications:
_


  • A four year degree from an institute of recognized standing in Business, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant
discipline, plus two years of directly related experience with Materials Management business processes;
OR

  • A two year diploma from an institute of recognized standing in Business Administration, or a relevant discipline plus a
minimum of four years with Materials Management business processes.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP MMS, SAP BW, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access for data analysis and reporting
preparation.

  • Advanced understanding of corporate policies, guidelines and purchasing procedures.
  • Demonstrated initiative and motivation to work simultaneously on a number of moderate to complex projects and assignments
- in a team environment.
  • Practical knowledge of the various materials and services used throughout the corporation would be an asset.
  • Experience with project management an asset.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Change Management principles is an asset.
  • Familiar with the requirements of a business process management system or quality management system such as ISO.
  • Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Province of Manitoba.
  • Must possess a valid Province of Manitoba Driver's Licence with appropriate class.
