We are defining a new chapter of bright, expressive North Okanagan wines coupled with our year-round tasting room and Home Block restaurant to offer an unprecedented winery experience in a serene and natural setting.


As part of our growing ambition for environmental sustainability, we are looking to add a
Sustainability Coordinator to our team.

Reporting to the Director of Sustainability, you will be responsible for implementing sustainability programs across CedarCreek.

You will offer advice and solutions to management, cross-functional employees and clients on best practices that are in line with environmental conservation efforts.


You will help our us achieve our goals when it comes to sustainability and being environmentally friendly by improving efficiency and evolving winemaking processes that cater towards sustainable practice.

You will further implement policies and regulations to help reduce environmental damages such as waste, greenhouse gases, climate change, carbon footprints and energy consumption.


What You Will Do:


  • Support our sustainability strategy and framework across CedarCreek Estate Winery.
  • Leverage internal and external expertise to solve challenges in sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Support the development of financial and operational business requirements for sustainability proposals and strategies.
  • Create annual reports to show progress and compliance on sustainability initiatives and partnerships across the business.
  • Implement systems of measurement to allow accurate reporting of baseline and improvements over time.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify areas of opportunity to improve sustainability efforts.
  • Implement solutions against problem areas in adherence to the company's vision and mission.
  • Support marketing teams to develop storytelling around sustainability and help build effective communication tools around those initiatives.
  • Other adhoc projects as required.

What You Bring:


  • 02 years' experience in the delivery/management of an environmental compliance program.
  • Undergraduate degree in an environmental science, engineering, or business field.
  • Experience in project management and environmental impact.
  • Sustainability advisory and/or sustainable financial planning experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Provincial environmental legislation, including waste legislation, standards, and effective industry practices is an asset.
  • Experience in agriculture or wine industry is an asset.
  • Valid BC driver's license, and own vehicle required.
