Over the past 5+ years you've worked in a fast-paced human resources department providing expert knowledge for all things total rewards; compensation, benefits, pension, disability management; job evaluations and workforce analytics.


You've proven that you are not afraid to think outside the box to find the best approach to achieve results.

You are proactive, leading by example rather than sitting back. You consider the bigger picture when focusing on new initiatives and you thrive on driving improvement and efficiency.

Your understanding of providing great customer experience is apparent through your clear written and verbal communication skills.

What will you do?
Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.

  • Plan, coordinate and execute the annual compensation cycle, internal equity and pay equity reviews, including technology and communications requirements.
  • Analyze key stakeholder feedback, talent trends, internal and external data, and cost implications, to develop recommendations that enhance Dream's compensation, benefits and employee recognition practices.
  • Analyze market data and industry best practices to make recommendations for the evolution of compensation elements such as pay structures, salary increase guidelines, and pay progression guidelines. Develop, implement and update policies, People & Culture team practice/process guidelines and tools, and related communication material as needed.
  • Own Dream's benefit and pension plans through thorough research, analysis, evaluation, customeroriented administration, promotion and performance monitoring;
  • Research and recommend updates to the design and delivery of companywide recognition programs, in collaboration with colleagues across People & Culture and provides minutes for all Pension Committee meetings.
  • Participate in total rewards surveys on behalf of Dream. Recommend survey process improvements and continually look for new sources of relevant and reliable market data.
  • Manage and track all leave programs and policies; STD, LTD, Parental Leave, etc.
  • In collaboration with colleagues in People & Culture and HRIS (UKG), design and build metrics, reports, and tools to inform program decisions and forecast, report, and/or analyze business outcomes relative to compensation, benefits and recognition programs.
  • Create, manipulate and analyze all workforce analytics reports; headcount, labour distribution, labour cost etc; to create actionable insights
  • Assist with preparing Boardlevel reports on key People + Culture metrics and current/historical trends, to provide insight and support decisionmaking to address organizational health, opportunities, and challenges
  • Continuously improve our reports and process, driving towards realtime, userfriendly, efficiency and business impact

What type of experience and skills do you have?

  • Over 5+ years of related work experience where you were the main point of contact for the company's Total Rewards programs;
  • Postsecondary school in a related field; (Business, Finance, HR); CHRP or CEBS an asset;
  • Superior knowledge of benefits, pension, compensation, HR systems;
  • Advanced Excel is a must and experience with UKG HRIS a bonus;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential;
  • Detail Oriented and ability to meet deadlines; and
  • Results Oriented and ability to effectively prioritize work.
