Work Arrangement:
This is a in person role primarily based in the Corporate Office at the Edmonton International Airport with occasional work-from-home flexibility


Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be accountable for the following duties:

  • Entering accounts payable transactions accurately and on a timely basis for payments
  • Verifying invoices and coding into SAGE
  • Ensure approval signature received
  • Respond to and resolve internal and supplier inquiries
  • Statement review and reconciliation
  • Assist with monthend accounts payable accrual entry
  • Assist with the timely upload of employee reimbursement
  • Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time

Qualifications & Requirements:

- **Education**:
  • Post
  • secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

- **Experience**:
  • Minimum of three (3) years prior accounts payable experience in a high
  • volume environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Previous Experience with Sage 300 is an asset

- **Skills and Abilities**:
  • Strong and flexible work ethic
  • High level of initiative and attention to detail
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A mindset to continuously improve processes
- **Competencies**:Flair team members exhibit common competencies which contribute to individual, team and company success

- **Requirements**:
  • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
  • Ability to successfully complete a preemployment alcohol and drug screening test _(only when applicable)_
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) _(only when applicable)_
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
