Work Arrangement:
This is a in person role primarily based in the Corporate Office at the Edmonton International Airport with occasional work-from-home flexibility

Position Overview:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be accountable for the following duties:

Entering accounts payable transactions accurately and on a timely basis for payments
Verifying invoices and coding into SAGE
Ensure approval signature received
Respond to and resolve internal and supplier inquiries
Statement review and reconciliation
Assist with monthend accounts payable accrual entry
Assist with the timely upload of employee reimbursement
Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time

Qualifications & Requirements:

- **Education**:

Post
secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

- **Experience**:

Minimum of three (3) years prior accounts payable experience in a high
volume environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Previous Experience with Sage 300 is an asset

- **Skills and Abilities**:

Strong and flexible work ethic
High level of initiative and attention to detail
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational skills
A mindset to continuously improve processes

- **Requirements**:

Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
Ability to successfully complete a preemployment alcohol and drug screening test _(only when applicable)_
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) _(only when applicable)_
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
