Responsibilities:


  • Provide support and analysis on financial, economic, accounting, engineering, system planning, cost allocation, demand forecasting, and/or public policyrelated issues
  • Gather, compile, and analyze impacts of identified issues and provides solutions, and recommendations based on analytic findings and nature of the issues

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience conducting energy research and analysis (preference for experience working in energy regulation at a utility or regulatory body)
  • Previous experience assessing utility business plans and proposals and/or undertaking economic/financial analyses of large amounts of data is an asset
  • Proven track record to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and balance multiple priorities at once
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that cater to all levels in an organization
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
