Responsibilities:

Provide support and analysis on financial, economic, accounting, engineering, system planning, cost allocation, demand forecasting, and/or public policyrelated issues
Gather, compile, and analyze impacts of identified issues and provides solutions, and recommendations based on analytic findings and nature of the issues

Qualifications:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum of 1 years' experience conducting energy research and analysis (preference for experience working in energy regulation at a utility or regulatory body)
Previous experience assessing utility business plans and proposals and/or undertaking economic/financial analyses of large amounts of data is an asset
Proven track record to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure and balance multiple priorities at once
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that cater to all levels in an organization
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
