    NOON HOUR SUPERVISORS
    ABOUT THE UPPER GRAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (UGDSB)
    The UGDSB has a team of approximately 4,000 dedicated staff serving over 35,000 students in 65 elementary and 11 secondary schools, along with continuing education and adult learning centres in Dufferin, Wellington, and Guelph. The UGDSB covers the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Six Nations of the Grand River, and Saugeen Ojibway Nation.
    The UGDSB focuses on student achievement and well-being through dedicated staff and strong learning communities, catering to diverse student needs.
    THE OPPORTUNITY
    The UGDSB is looking for dynamic individuals to join as Noon Hour Supervisors for part-time, temporary positions. These supervisors, under the Principal/Vice-Principal's direction, ensure student safety and a secure environment.
    Job Details:
    • Work Locations: Elementary Schools across Upper Grand
    • Pay: $18.50 per hour plus vacation pay
    • Weekly Hours: 5-10 hours during the school year or on-call
    • Duties Period: September 2023 - June 2024, extendable
    Responsibilities
    • Supervise students indoors and outdoors during breaks
    • Ensure student safety and security
    • Other duties as directed
    Experience and Qualifications
    • Minimum age: 18 years
    • Available during breaks or on-call
    • Prior experience with children preferred
    • Good communication skills
    • First Aid and CPR certification a plus
    • Respect for student diversity
    • Team player with good attendance
    • Commitment to confidentiality
