- The store is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. The usual shifts will be Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. Handle telephone inquiries quickly and courteously. Follow store policy regarding the handling of shoplifters.
- Know whom to refer a customer to if they have a complaint.
- Inform the store manager of all customer complaints, comments, and concerns regarding customer service, prices, merchandise, etc.
- Learn and utilize proper merchandising techniques such as shelf label placement, stock rotation, and facing.
- Maintain product data and inventory, and make sure the reordering process is simple.
- Participate in the development and preparation of displays, windows, and seasonal promotions.
- Merchandising and retail experience are assets.
