PRINCIPAL ASSISTANT, ACADEMICS
A Designated Learning Institution (DLI), Ace Acumen Academy offers our International Students a recognized Ontario public college credential from our academic course offerings.
The College seeks a professional individual to ensure the consistency and quality of program implementation, both in-person or remotely online, according to mandated College curriculum standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide effective leadership, focus and prioritization for the effective delivery of the programs, and for continuous improvement of the services provided by the College;
- Work collaboratively with all College Departments to ensure long term growth and support for students; ensure technical requirements of all programs are met and issues get resolved.
- Work closely with Program Coordinators in creating Google Classrooms, assigning instructors and advisers; oversee semester class schedules for all campuses
- Update / maintain accurate documentation, case notes, logs, databases and timely reporting of information and updates; ensure timely grade submissions and oversee that data submission is completed on time and in accordance to the College's protocols
- Carry out timely, efficient, and effective communications; ensure communications, directives and policies are consistent between all Academic Departments at all Ace Acumen Academy campuses, to effectively provide a transparent environment for our students and staff.
- Complete semesterbasis performance assessment(s) and evaluation(s) for any assigned staff; submit documentation to Director of Faculty;
- Support with maintaining student retention rates and graduation rates;
- Assist with coordinating and ensure timely scheduling/programming of Academic Department committees & related meetings such as orientations, Professional Development meetings, Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings or disciplinary committees meetings;
- Participate in the process of preparing for and passing any college audits, as necessary;
- Teaching based on the academic schedule may be required from time to time;
- Work rotating evening and weekend shifts to monitor college functions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years' related work experience, within an educational field preferred.
- Knowledge of Private Career Colleges and Public Private Partnerships is an asset.
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:
- Master's Degree (required)
Experience:
- related or academic: 2 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
