Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time End User Computing (EUC) Technical Specialist to join our Process Support team.

A role you will love

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and code integrated quality programs using an internal SCRIP macro language along with MS Access, SQL, and VBA software
  • Complete all programming to schedule and within the estimated time limit
  • Learn and support all internal systems; resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Adhere to departmental and company standards, processes and procedures
  • Deliver programs of the highest quality which meet or exceed clients' expectations
  • Provide feedback to the Global Manager
  • End Using Computing with respect to: attention to approach, consistency, reusability, quality, documentation style, completeness and development methodology
  • Working in a test & live production environment, provide technical support to all team members and/or stakeholders
  • Liaise with other areas of the business for effective communications
  • Develop processes/systems that increase operational throughput, improve efficiency, and reduce operating costs on an ongoing basis Create code that is robust, scalable, modular and delegable to junior programmers/stakeholders

You are a strong communicator and a team player. You have the proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage changing priorities.


You'll also bring:


  • Experience with the following:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio VB.Net
  • TFS (Team Foundation Server) source control
  • SQL
  • MS Access
  • Excel-VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)

Bonus points if you have:


  • Degree, Certificate, Diploma in IT, or related discipline
  • Experience with SSRS/SSIS/Power-BI (Business Intelligence) software
  • Experience using Microsoft PAD (Power Automate Desktop)
  • Experience with Monarch parsing software
  • Agile Project Management experience Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma / DEVOPS / Continuous Improvement methodologies
