Essential Functions:


  • Coordinate and lead contracted services as required or assigned.
  • Support onsite scoping and assist with the estimation of various contractor services.
  • Develop and review work packages per accepted process.
  • Actively review and validate the work scope and estimates submitted by all contractors performing work.
  • Ensure all construction activities are completed in conjunction with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as company/government safety practices.
  • Foster and maintain collaborative relationships with various key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Supervise ground disturbance activities and provide recommendations for process improvements, where necessary.
  • Support a positive safety culture including participation in leading indicator reporting, contractor audits and inspections.
  • Respond to and support safety events, as required.
  • Provide input on policies and procedures governing project management, project controls, engineering, and procurement that impact construction activities.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on KPI's related to ground disturbance activities.
  • Support corporate initiatives including core values.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work within a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrate a prominent safetyfirst mentality.
  • Excellent reporting skills combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be dynamic and provide creative solutions in a fastpaced, multitrade environment.
  • Must be selfmotivated, openminded and results oriented.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of construction/operations in relation to safe and efficient production at conventional heavy and thermal oil assets.

_Education and Experience:
_


  • A relevant postsecondary degree or diploma is considered an asset.
  • Construction coordination & ground disturbance experience is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of relevant construction experience in the Oil and Gas industry preferred.
  • Ground Disturbance Level II Certification preferred.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license and drivers abstract required.

Work Environment:


  • This position will require you to work at either our Macklin or Lloydminster office with occasional field travel as required.
