As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a
Customer Service Representative (Intermodal Division) who will interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns & requests.

This role reports to the Intermodal Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire Intermodal process to ensure all shipments are complete and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE IN A CSR ROLE IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT IS MANDATORY


Responsibilities:


  • Create freight bills & preparing manifests & BOLs.
  • Scanning paperwork into our inhouse system
  • Communicating with carriers and team members
  • Update forms & reports
  • Manage customers' accounts.
  • Obtain, evaluate, and handle all relevant information to resolve inquiries and complaints promptly.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments including Operations and Transload.
  • Follow up on customer interactions.
  • Efiling freight documents.
  • Answering telephone
  • Willing to work occasional extended hours as required.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:


  • Min. Grade 12; bachelor's will be a bonus.
  • Min 1 year experience working in an office environment.
  • Knowledge & experience in handling Intermodal shipments will be given preference.
  • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel spreadsheet
  • Must adhere to customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
  • Good analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong organizational skills: attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and report to higher management of any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Hours and Location:


  • Monday to Friday: :30
  • Terminal Location: Delta, BC (near Boundary Bay Airport)
