This is an 18-month fixed term contract.

What will you do?

A day in the Life:

Participate in various aspects of the QA job function, e.g., processing of complaints, quarantines, quality certificates, internal audits, generation of supplier and team metrics, etc.
Process Change notices including management of the Quality triage inbox.
Coordinate document translations and periodically report translation invoices to Quality Manager.
Author work instructions or flow charts from existing or new standard operating procedures as required.
Support with applicable departmental metrics
Participate in both internal and external audits of the Quality Management System.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Execute projects and complete other duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

Minimum College Diploma in Science with 2 years experience in quality assurance or regulated environment OR Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry (or equivalent) with 1 year experience working in quality assurance or regulated environment.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, customer focused and a flexible team player.
Experienced in dealing with customers, suppliers
Experience with MasterControl, Cognos, PC Networks and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
Ability to quickly learn systems.
Must be able to work in a dynamic, highpressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
Experience coordinating or participating in an audit process.
Experience liaising with internal/external customers as well as third party suppliers.
