Looking to hire a cook to be trained as a MAIN COOK for both Europa Catering (TORONTO) and or Europa Convention Centre (MISSISSAUGA).

Weekend availability is required. Evening availability is also required due to the nature of the business.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare food according to menu and company standards.
  • Awareness of food safety and sanitation issues.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a high level of customer contact; have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Food service: 2 years (preferred)
  • Food handling: 2 years (preferred)
  • Food preparation: 2 years (preferred)
  • Food safety: 2 years (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)
  • Portuguese (preferred)
  • Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (required)
