RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE
Reporting to the Manager of TIFF Shop, the Retail Sales Associate is responsible for servicing the Retail Shop and its customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory/Merchandising:
- Merchandise handling, restocking, organizing, folding, receiving and pricing
- Maintain cleanliness and appealing aesthetic of TIFF Shop
Operations:
- Greet, watch and engage with customers
- Demonstrate product knowledge and interact with customers around the Shop to meet their needs and drive sales
- Perform accurate transactions on POS system
- Open and closing duties as assigned
- Other duties as required
RATE OF PAY:
- $15.50/Hourly
TARGET
CONTRACT DATES:
- August 21, 2023September 17, 2023
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience 2+ years experience in retail and/or customer service position
- Strong communication skills
- Takes direction well
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Interest in film, nonprofits, arts and culture is considered an asset
- Must be available to work all days of the Toronto International Film Festival
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- This position requires being in office on a regular basis.
