We are currently hiring for the position of:

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Reporting to the Manager of TIFF Shop, the Retail Sales Associate is responsible for servicing the Retail Shop and its customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory/Merchandising:

Merchandise handling, restocking, organizing, folding, receiving and pricing
Maintain cleanliness and appealing aesthetic of TIFF Shop

Operations:

Greet, watch and engage with customers
Demonstrate product knowledge and interact with customers around the Shop to meet their needs and drive sales
Perform accurate transactions on POS system
Open and closing duties as assigned
Other duties as required

RATE OF PAY:

- $15.50/Hourly

August 21, 2023September 17, 2023

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience 2+ years experience in retail and/or customer service position

system (Knowledge of Givex POS and/or Shopify is an asset)- Previous cash handling experience

Strong communication skills
Takes direction well
Excellent customer service
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
Interest in film, nonprofits, arts and culture is considered an asset
Must be available to work all days of the Toronto International Film Festival
Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
This position requires being in office on a regular basis.
