We are currently hiring for the position of:

PRODUCTION MANAGER


As a part of TIFF's Brand & Media team, the Production Manager oversees the production process and coordinates the successful delivery of all creative and brand projects.


Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Production Manager is the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and plays a pivotal role in keeping video, content, digital, design and copywriting projects on track and to plan.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Shall include but not be limited to:
Act as the primary conduit between the Brand & Media team and all internal stakeholders when it comes to communicating project timelines and progress- Work with Brand & Media project leads to define project scope and objectives, involving and coaching all relevant stakeholders and ensuring team workload is balanced across organizational priorities- Vet and manage all Trello requests, ensuring resource availability and allocation, while managing project scope- Within the context of the established processes, exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, solve and improve operational issues, seeking supervisor input if there is ambiguity- Work with the Director, Marketing to assign resources effectively to satisfy quality and stakeholder needs- Monitor costs and expenses quarterly against annual plan- Help traffic year-round and Festival creative assets across internal teams and external vendors- Flexible in supporting the team on a wide variety of administrative duties- Coordinate meetings, taking notes and distributing follow up on actions- Maintain and improve relationships with existing internal and external stakeholders- Supervise a seasonal Production Coordinator from July - September in the lead-up to Festival


JOB GRADE & SALARY:


  • Job Grade 3 $60,00075,000/ Annually

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 5 years of working experience in production management in an inhouse or creative agency.
  • Experience coordinating print, video, digital, social, copywriting and live event projects
  • Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
  • Verbally communicates in a professional manner
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Expertise in Trello is required; advanced experience with other project management platforms is an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite is required
  • Developing and tracking deliverables with a keen ability to control inventory and scope creep
  • Excellent issuesresolution abilities
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive approach to evaluating, recommending and implementing opportunities that improve internal tools and processes
  • Selfmotivated with excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • A positive attitude, and a team player able to motivate others
  • Strong listening and superior relationship building skills
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekend, when required
