Permanent
Full-Time Support Worker III positions.
These positions will be assigned to work in our group homes in Barrie, working up to 72 hours biweekly.**
Compensation Package:
- Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $23.56/hour;
- 11 paid Statutory Holidays;
- Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family;
Following the successful completion of probation:
- Employer paid life insurance, short
- Employer paid vacation and sick time; Participation in the Multisector Pension plan;
Minimum Qualifications:
- D.S.W. diploma or an acceptable educational equivalency (D.S.W., Child & Youth Worker, E.C.E., S.S.W., Nursing, Psychology, etc.) as determined by the employer is required;
- 6 months direct work experience with the Developmental Services Sector;

- Ability to work weekends and holidays;
- Ability to attend team meetings and training as required during daytime hours; ?
- A valid
class "G" driver's license and own reliable transportation is required;

Our Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.
