What we're looking for

You will

  • Attract, develop, and retain a diverse, worldclass team with a strong sense of purpose and belonging; providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the team is performing at their best
  • Create the context for your team to thrive with relationships, rituals, and processes that streamline delivery, while facilitating collaboration with crossfunctional partners
  • Scale the impact of research through enablement and operational rigor
  • Build relationships and navigate the organization to understand where there the biggest insight gaps exist and how research can align opportunities to the top business priorities
  • Partner with senior leaders in strategic planning, ensuring the voice of the customer is wellrepresented in decisionmaking forums
  • Manage relationships with research vendors and contractors as needed
  • Stay uptodate with the latest research methods and tools to ensure the team is using best practices and delivering highquality research insights

You have

  • Experience leading product, design or market research efforts, both as a lead researcher and manager; preferably in an R&D organization
  • 5+ years of people management experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience providing recommendations that help shape product strategy
  • Passion for helping crossfunctional teams increase their understanding of research
  • Advanced degree in research, psychology, social sciences, human factors, HCI, or other related field
