Our client, a leading visual communications firm which offers comprehensive services across multiple industries, is seeking a
Contract Administrator to join their Finance and HR/Administrative departments.

The individual will be responsible for the review of confidential documents, business contracts, responding to RFPs/RFIs and employee handbooks/contracts. This role will be focused on establishing, defining and improving policies, processes and practices and recommending changes to management.

The HR Coordinator/Contract Administrator will perform the following (but not limited to):
onboarding, recruiting, health and safety, ongoing training and HR practices.

Duties would include but not limited to:

  • Preparation, revising and drafting company policies and confidential documents
  • Reviewing RFPs/RFIs and contracts and providing recommendations
  • Maintaining a database of job descriptions
  • Utilizing/managing HR modules in ADP Workforce Now Portal
  • Work with IT Team on ISO 2700
  • Assisting with training and development which includes building and executing onboarding processes
  • Maintaining new hire files to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Participating on the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC)
  • Maintaining the ISO 45001 certification and assisting with other certifications as needed
  • Working with staffing agencies
  • Ensure all divisions are uptodate and comply with current, new and upcoming employment
legislations

  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Competencies

  • Relevant diploma or postsecondary degree (Law clerk, paralegal)
  • General understanding of contracts
  • Computer Skills, Technology 10
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
