Our Company is growing and seeking an
Accounting Manager for the
Off-Road Group of Arrow to join our newly integrated corporate finance team.

The Company is the parent organization of several divisions operating in the machining and fabrication space.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Professional that can successfully multi-task in this fast paced workplace, lead an accounting team in a manufacturing environment, and prepare comprehensive financial statements and status reports.


Responsibilities:


  • Execute consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures, adhering to Company wide policies and procedures;
  • Provide on site supervision and prepare coaching plans for all accounting and finance personnel, including Accountants, Cost Analysts, AR, AR, and other roles as adopted;
  • Execute on contribution margin and gross margin reporting at the facility level;
  • Continually analyze and report production costs by job / project, with keen focus on materials, labour, and overheads applied;
  • Complete month end closing in a timely manner with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Prepare monthly income tax provisions and provide support for income tax preparation and planning;
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
  • Collaborate with site leadership to analyze and provide commentary on financial and operational performance to augment financial reporting to the Off-Road Group;
  • Prepare site level cash flow projections & payment management planning;
  • Support site level customer & vendor pricing with Business Development & Purchasing;
  • Prepare, support, and analyze annual Business Planning & quarterly Forecasting with facility leadership;
  • Coordinate activities of external auditors; and
  • Optimize Company's working capital metrics, including DSO, DPO, and DIO.

Skills:


  • Postsecondary education plus CPA designation;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a seniorlevel accounting / finance in a similar sized organization;
  • Knowledge of ASPE and / or IFRS and accounting principles;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computerized Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems;
  • Advanced level skills using Microsoft Excel;
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • Selfdriven with a focus on independent problem solving and issue resolution.
