Position Information:


Rapid Access Clinic-Low Back Pain (formerly ISAEC) is an innovative, collaborative model of care for low back pain assessment, education and self management.

The incumbent of this position is responsible for coordinating necessary administrative processes to ensure smooth service operation and will be responsible for referral tracking and management, supporting the clinical lead and will be involved in performance analysis.

This position may have the possibility of working from home hybrid.

Temporary until approximately September 27, 2024.


Rotation/Shifts:

Days, 8 hour shifts.


Basic Requirements:


  • Two years community college diploma in an administrative or health care related field;
  • Minimum two years experience in an administrative/support role in a health care setting;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Knoweledge of medical terminology;
  • Knowledge of operating basic office equipment: fax, printer, scanner, etc;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Above average initiative and judgement skills;
  • Strong ability to work independently with little supervision;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to maintain a positive and flexible attitude despite varied demands, environment and workload;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with and relay messages to all levels of staff, patients and other health care professionals;
  • Tact and discretion when dealing with personal and confidential information;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast paced environment;
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Excellent coordination skills to deal with multiple activities and projects concurrently;
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada;
  • Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French
- and English-speaking clients


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of website maintenance.
