We Are Looking For
A General Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the successful management of our diverse portfolio of properties.

This full-time, permanent position reports to the Vice-President, Melcor Properties and is a key member of our team.

What You'll Do
Provide leadership to your team and outstanding customer service to tenants while managing a portfolio of properties

This includes:

Ensure portfolio and divisional objectives are met
Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a team of property managers and support staff
Take a leadership role in portfolio matters such as real tax, utility procurement, and insurance
Collaborate with the team to oversee a prioritized 5year capital expenditure budget
Develop the overall strategic plan for operating budgets
Implement best practices for customer service, preventative maintenance, and daytoday property management across the portfolio
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including partners and shareholders, as needed

About You

You have 710 years experience in a commercial real estate managerial role
You have expert knowledge with: Lease documentation, budgeting/financial practices, negotiations, and managing retail properties
You have a postsecondary degree or diploma in Business, accreditation from the industry, or relevant experience
You possess strong interpersonal skills and are able to build lasting business relationships
Your communication, conflict resolution and project management skills are exceptional
You have strong financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
You have excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
