Supporting all of Client's three business areas in Geointelligence, Robotics & Space Operations, and Satellite Systems.
As our Bilingual Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for processing high-volume bi-weekly payrolls for union and non-union employees across various jurisdictions in Canada.
Your role will require accurate preparation and calculation as client's payroll is serviced in-house, and your contribution is essential to the Payroll & Finance team's success.
Responsibilities:
- Administering the biweekly end to end payroll cycle and the employee benefit process
- Administering the GL and month end activities
- Preparing payroll related remittances
- Processing all items related to onboarding, terminations, and maintenance
- Processing biweekly monthly pay reports
- Processing and balancing year end forms (T4/RL1's)
- Maintaining employee records and audit files
- Addressing payroll related enquiry and explaining payroll calculations and legislative requirements
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 and Certification by the Canadian Payroll Association as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
- 3+ years of related experience in a computerized payroll environment
- Bilingual proficient in reading, writing, and talking in French
- Knowledge of the methods, practices and principles used in the preparation, calculation, and processing of payrolls
- Knowledge of union and nonunion is a must, and Quebec employment standards is an asset
- Ability to effectively liaise with, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Client serviceoriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Selfmotivated; ability to work independently with mínimal supervision; ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with UKG (Ultipro) software is considered an asset
