We are currently looking for SLEEVING SHIFT LEAD, NIGHT SHIFT to join our OAKVILLE team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will provide job summary. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment_

  • This position operates on a straight night shift (12am8am) basis and is eligible for shift premium._

Responsibilities:


  • Replenishing Sleevers with trayed vinyl, fresh sleeves and empty trays
  • Inspect trayed vinyl at shift start to ensure travellers sheets are complete, correct and match with corresponding tray
  • Organizing the arrival of sleeved vinyl from other PRP locations
  • Reporting and arranging the return of any flagged vinyl to the Quality Assurance department
  • Reporting any issues or anomalies to the appropriate department Team Leader
  • Update and maintain accuracy of Sleeving Report
  • Move sleeved towers to designated areas and arrange towers based on packaging queue or mezzanine storage
  • Organize and prepare tower dividers
  • Prepare and supply pallets of trayed vinyl, fresh sleeves and empty trays to Sleevers
  • Retrieve and prepare empty trays on pallets for return to PRP1 via use of shrink wrap machine
  • Sleeving trayed vinyl
  • Other duties as assigned by Team Leader or designate
Physical Demands

  • Required to stand for entire duration of shift
  • Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs intermittently throughout the shift
  • Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels
  • Involves repetitive motions: use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment
Requirements/Qualifications

  • Previous experience with quality assurance of vinyl records, specifically visual checks, required
  • Proficiency in Google Business Suite, specifically Google Sheets required
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or coordinator role considered an asset
  • Previous experience operating a walkie or counterbalance forklift is considered an asset; role will require operation of similar equipment
  • Excellent communication skills: written, electronic and verbal
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of job
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Must be capable of working in stressful situations in times of need
  • Must be able to work overtime as business needs require.
