    Precision Record Pressing

    Precision Record Pressing is a top vinyl record pressing company with multiple locations in the Greater Toronto Area. We attribute our growth and success to our focus on service, quality, and innovation, as well as the dedication and enthusiasm of our team members.

    We are currently seeking a PRESS OPERATOR to join our BURLINGTON team. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for operating vinyl presses to create high-quality vinyl records for customer orders. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment.

    This role involves working the night shift (11pm-7am) with eligibility for a shift premium.

    Candidates must be Canadian residents legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate vinyl presses to produce materials meeting customer specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
      • Read work orders and production schedules for conformity to customer requirements
      • Set up, start, and shut down machines, monitoring operations and restocking materials
      • Achieve or exceed daily and monthly production goals
      • Conduct quality audits during manufacturing
    • Perform regular machine maintenance and keep work area clean
    • Report malfunctions and troubleshoot equipment issues
    • Conduct visual quality control checks and adhere to company policies
    • Collaborate with team members to maximize efficiency
    • Reduce waste in all areas
    • Communicate effectively within the organization
    • Complete assigned tasks by Team Leader

    Physical Demands

    • Stand for long periods
    • Engage in repetitive motions and use hands and wrists continuously
    • Bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts
    • Work in various weather conditions
    • Lift up to 50lbs occasionally
    • Adapt to sound pressure levels

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Use proper PPE, including CSA steel-toed safety boots
    • Willingness to work all shifts and overtime
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work in stressful situations
    • Team player with manufacturing experience
