The Opportunity:


Reporting to the Associate Director, Global Rewards People Analytics and Wellness, this new and critical role will provide functional leadership and analysis on global group benefit plans and retirement plans.

You will be the first point of contact for employees and leaders who have inquiries on all facets of ApplyBoard's Group Benefits, Wellness and Retirement Plans.

This is a great job opportunity open to the following locations:

Canada:
Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Alberta and Manitoba.

United States:
Massachusetts, California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Illinois and New York.

What you'll be doing every day:

  • Trusted advisor to Directors, Managers, HRBPs and the P&C team
  • Data-led critical thinker with business acumen
  • Facilitate the annual renewal processes, making recommendations for program changes and providing program value using a cost containment strategy
  • Facilitation of the global re-enrollment processes in Canada and the US
  • Manage vendor relationships in Canada, US, and the UK
  • Responsible for recommending and implementing governance structures for retirement programs
  • Knowledge of city, county, state, provincial, and federal requirements for benefits, retirement plans and leaves
  • Responsible for measuring and analyzing program effectiveness
  • Responsible for benefit and retirement plan survey participation and benchmarking
  • Responsible for recommending and facilitating employee communications
  • Understanding industry trends
  • Lead the development of the TRW newsletter and measure effectiveness

What you bring to the table:

  • Prior experience in Benefits, Retirement Plans, and Wellness
  • College or University degree is preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a Total Rewards function as an Analyst or Specialist. Must have directly managed benefit renewals and retirement program governance.
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills required. Must have experience using Excel to analyze large data sets quickly and accurately (i.e. basic formulas, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables). Familiarity with Google Sheets is an asset.

Ideally, you also have experience with some of:

  • Workday HRIS
