Administrative Assistant - Remote, Full Time (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada)
Role Summary:
You will provide administrative support services in claims creation. You will also perform other administrative and clerical support to various branch staff. This role requires the flexibility to work during regular business hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help with files to be billed within specified time frame, as per account instructions
- Assist with payments are to be issued accurately and as per account instructions
- Proper handling of correspondence for National Account employees and maintaining a catalogue of electronic devices
- Provide assistance to various stakeholders
- Cover reception's breaks as required
- Handle tasks for dedicated teams
- Assist with scanning project for closed files
- Complete data integrity updates
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postsecondary education in administration
- Minimum 1 years' experience in an administrative support role, specifically in the insurance industry.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word required
- Very strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic
- Proven ability to contribute to and work well within a team environment
- Must have the aptitude and ability to learn as required
