Environmental Project Manager - Full-time, Remote (Alberta)

Role Summary

The Western Canada division of Pario Engineering and Environmental Sciences LP is a niche environmental science and remediation consulting firm seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Alberta.

Responsibilities:

Emergency response through an established on call schedule
Site assessment and management of remediation projects
Management of subcontractors, development of budgets and cost control
Field sampling
Regulatory reporting
Client correspondence and reporting

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:

Diploma or degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, soil science or equivalent;
Industry experience of 510 years of conducting contaminated site investigations and spill response/remediation projects;
Insurance Industry experience is preferred.
Experience in Provincial contaminated sites legislation, regulations and processes; Alberta and British Columbia
A proven ability to prepare comprehensive technical reports and a personable attitude are requirements for these positions.
Strong supervisory experience with client relations, auditing, environmental due diligence and risk assessment would be a definite asses.
Strong written and oral communication in English.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
