We are looking for a
Paint Line Technician, you will partner with various departments to optimize the Paint Line machines performance and ensure that we are providing parts that meet quality standards.

If you have experience with painting machinery and equipment, with strong communication and organizational skills, and are self-motivated and team minded, we encourage you to apply This is a full time position on the day shift.


Shift:
Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm; to provide support to both shifts


You will be responsible to:


  • Act as a key person in the painting process for the 3 paint lines as well as the touch up sprayers on assembly lines
  • Partner with Safety and Manufacturing Engineers to create, maintain, and audit safe operating procedures, and work instructions for all paint processes
  • Work closely with Operators and Maintenance to complete preventative maintenance, trouble shooting, autonomous repairs, upgrades, and adjustments on machinery as required (including dip tanks, paint lines, sanders, and spray guns)
  • Teach team members hand spraying, cleaning and proper gun maintenance, sanding, repairing, mixing paint, and quality on all shifts
  • Ensure leadership is aware of any opportunities within the paint process

  • Experience with painting machinery and equipment
  • Indepth knowledge of characteristics of paint and materials
