We are looking for a
Machinist to join our Maintenance team.
This is a full-time, permanent position.

Shift:
Tuesday to Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

In this role, you will be responsible to:

Manufacture, repair, install, and adjust plant equipment, fixtures, tooling, and components
Understand metallurgy as relating to the manufacturing industry
Assist in design and development of fixtures, tooling, components, and equipment
Make alterations to fixtures, tooling, and components to ensure desired results
Update drawings and prints to reflect actual conditions
Diagnose and accurately repair equipment and tooling
Keep production and maintenance staff informed of equipment status and condition
Implement equipment improvements
Fabricate and assemble machine components
Assist in the design of machine controls

You will bring:

Certified Machinist with an interprovincial ticket
Proficient in the fabrication of machine components
Results oriented
Ability to work in a time pressured environment
Basic understanding of electricity and control systems
Training in installation, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to understand and read drawings/blueprints
Effective written and oral communication skills, in English
Computer literate

The following will be considered assets:

Tool and die maker certification
Experience in assembly of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
Welding experience
