Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Teach Go Day Camp, Watersports Camps Programs and Private/Group Lessons
- Coach in a professional manner
- Provide ongoing feedback to athletes including progress reports, and end of session interviews
- Disseminate regular communications to athletes and parents
- Submit a curriculum plan and daily lesson plans
- Provide supervision during athlete arrival and departure
- Participate in daily staff meetings
- Perform daily opening and closing duties, maintenance and cleanliness of kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, coach boat fleet, coaching equipment, instructional spaces, and physical areas
- Provide an inclusive, welcoming, and flexible learning environment for all participants
Pre-requisites:
- Be age 16 years or older
- Be available from June 26 to August 25, 202
- Pleasure Craft Operator's Card
- Coach boat safety certification
- First Aid Certificate (Minimum Emergency Level ''C'' with CPR)
- VHF Maritime Radio certificate an asset
Schedule:
Seasonal (July-August, Full Time) - Optional additional work on evenings and weekends with private lessons, sailing team and rentals
