Job Summary


The Quality Assurance Polisher at Caliber Projects** Ltd. is a full-time position. The position is best suited for someone who thoroughly understands the home construction process, is a hands-on type of person with excellent character, communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment. The Quality Assurance Polisher is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while providing and coordinating all warranty repairs required in Caliber Projects built homes.


Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Polisher is responsible for assisting the Finishing Superintendent and Quality Assurance Inspector with the following items:

Major Responsibilities:

  • The review and repair of all homeowner post occupancy requests for services received through the Procore/Plan-Grid Homeowner Portal. Coordinate or complete repairs of all warranty requests for the common property and common facilities for all Caliber sites. Submit workorders and schedule subtrades as required for warranty repairs in new Caliber built homes. Complete repairs as required for warranty items that are not trade specific.

Included in these tasks are:
o Repair of floor squeaks. Minor drywall repairs and paint touch-ups.o Installation and repair of millwork Application of silicon and caulking. Minor cabinet repairs and adjustments. Adjustment of doors/bi-folds and hardwareo Adjustment and service of windowso Meet with trades to direct them on required services

  • Maintain and organize service van tools and supplies required for Customer Care work.
In addition to completing all homeowner post occupancy requests for service, the Customer Care Representative may also be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance team with the following items:

  • Completing quality inspections at the completion of the framing and systems rough in stage. Completing quality inspections at the completion of the finishing stage - Deficiency repairs to ensure that homes are 100% complete and ready for the homeownerwalkthrough. - Completion of all deficiencies noted during the homeowner walkthrough prior to

Required Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years construction experience
  • Organizational skills with discipline and attention to detail. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read constructionworking drawings, and specification checklists.
