Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Coordinator at Caliber Projects Ltd. is a fulltime position that is required at each project.

The position is best suited for someone who understands the home construction process, is a hands-on type person with excellent character, communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment.

The Quality Assurance Coordinator reports to the QA manager and is responsible for ensuring the tasks assigned are completed in a timely & quality fashion

ob Responsibilities:


The responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Coordinator include assisting the QA Manager with all things required to prepare units for orientation and possession.

These tasks include but are not limited to the following:


  • Conduct quality checks, inspections and cleanup during the finishing construction stage as per the TQM Standard Operating Procedures
  • Total Quality Management Process
  • Inspection of cabinets after installation
  • Inspection of all counters after installation
  • Inspections of all flooring after installation
  • Drywall lightout and paint quality inspections
  • Daily walkthrough of units in QA stage to clean and lock up
  • Complete Finishing Inspections for all units
  • Perform Finishing Inspection on all units
  • Create Requests for Services for subtrades as required
  • Discuss common issues encountered with the Site Super
  • Complete Exterior Inspections for all buildings
  • Inspect all exterior finishes including all siding materials, trims, soffits, roof shingles, paint, landscape & fencing
  • Create Requests for Services for subtrades as required
  • Confirm completion of all subtrade work
  • Communicate with the Site Super and QA Manager on a regular basis
  • To ensure a thorough understanding of the timeline required for all inspections
  • To determine when units should be available for orientations and possessions
  • Ensure that all units are ready for orientations the morning prior to the orientation
  • Confirm completion of all subtrade work
  • Coordinate or complete all misc repairs noted during finishing inspection.
  • Complete all tasks required in TQM
  • Schedule cleaning of units for orientations and possessions
  • Coordinate completion of all items that arise from the homeowner orientation
  • Create Requests for Services for subtrades as required

  • Confirm completion of all work prior to possession day
In order to present themselves properly, Caliber expects the following dress code/appearance:

  • Shirts and pants with no rips, holes or slogans
  • Clean shaven or trimmed and neat facial hair.

Required Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
In order to fulfill the responsibilities, Caliber Projects expects the following:

  • A minimum of 2-years construction experience
  • Organizational skills with discipline and attention to detail.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read constructionworking drawings, and specification checklists.
