Project Manager, East Toronto Family Practice - Michael Garron Hospital

Overview
The Project Manager, Special Projects, will work collaboratively with the East Toronto Family Practice Network (EasT-FPN) in implementing the EasT-FPN strategic priorities, including project management, community and stakeholder engagement, communications, membership outreach, activity reporting, office administration, and support to EasT-FPN and East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP).
The Project Manager, Special Projects, will support the EasT-FPN Director of Operations and Finance, in the implementation of operational tasks, and collaborate with EasT-FPN Physician Leads on the development, implementation and evaluation of projects.
The deliverables and responsibilities of this role may evolve to match EasT-FPN and hospital direction on the Ontario Health Team (OHT) primary care strategy.
Education- Master's Degree in health or business administration preferred or 5 plus years related project management experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- PMP certificate, preferred.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' related Project Management experience with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of local health issues, priorities and needs while recognizing the broader trends in health care policy and system development required.
- Sound written and verbal communications skills to write presentations, speeches, briefing notes etc. is required.
- Ability to plan and implement engagement meetings and resolve issues/concerns.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to build positive working relationships with partners, influence decision making and adoption of change initiatives.
- Facilitation skills to develop and conduct meetings with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
- Project management skills to plan, develop work plans and lead concurrent projects, to work collaboratively with partners and other team members and to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Financial management skills to develop and monitor budgets and agreements/contracts, manage the approval process, identify and resolve issues affecting the ability to deliver on deadline and on budget.
- Experience in data analytics, epidemiology and information synthesis
- Knowledge of health care reporting requirements and funding methodologies knowledge/familiarity with various databases used to capture information in the primary care sector.
- Good work and attendance record is required.
