JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with the Inbound Team, participate in the development of supply chain strategies and standardized business processes across Canada.
  • Manage logistics costs related to inbound material shipments covering all commodity types.
  • Support Logistics PPM cycle as the owner of site performance KPI's, ensuring a direct link of KPI's to the financials. Work with the business to understand KPI gaps and develop projects to improve performance.
  • Assist the manager with the VLC and FLC forecast for logistics, ensuring tight management of the risk and opportunity file and region execution of key forecast initiatives.
  • As a member of the Inbound Team, they would initiate important discussions with all stakeholders, engage other departments, share the team vision, ask for support and assistance, person who can navigate well internally and build a compelling vision and direction for the team.
  • Understand and improve operations through the identification of key standardized processes in the daily execution of all materials warehouses across Canada.
  • Review monthly KPI results and challenge the team to open up gaps to drive further improvement.
  • Actively participate in the creation and delivery of critical investment projects and prioritize efforts in the budgeting and planning exercises to maximize value and key implementations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Business, Operations or Supply Chain, and Industry related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience managing a budget as well as reporting out monthly financial results.
  • Respected and trusted leader with a proven track record of achievement, solid technical skills, and a reputation as a leader of change.
