Beyond is hiring a Quality Control Technician based out of our Red Deer, Alberta Office.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform all servicing and maintenance of dimensional equipment and maintain certification requirements
  • Perform measurement analysis of purchased and manufactured products or assemblies
  • Perform calibration of measurement equipment on a daily basis prior to performing any measurement task
  • Completion of QA/QC forms associated with task at hand
  • Analyze and determine root causes for failure or defects
  • Ability to think ahead and perform duties without supervision
  • Maintain all paperwork (ex; Charts, test records, etc.) to insure it is completed as required
  • Operate forklift as required
  • Cleanliness of quality control areas are maintained and kept clean
  • Ensure all applicable equipment is secured or locked at end of day
  • Learn and perform maintenance work as assigned
  • Communicate to manager any unsafe working conditions that are observed
  • Learn and operate equipment as assigned
  • Learn and adhere to safe working procedures
  • Actively participate in equipment and process familiarization
  • Adheres to all HSE standards & policies
  • Demonstrates ongoing commitment to high quality product, services and customer satisfaction
  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Certification in quality control or related field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamoriented and suited to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
